Miltons provide a 5 Year warranty on full bath reglazing.
The warranty covers flaking , cracking or peeling of the new bath enamel surface which we spray on.
The 5 year warranty does not cover new chips, scratches, damage, discolouration, limescale, dirt, hair dye etc that has been caused by misuse of the surface. It only covers our surface not peeling, cracking or flaking off.

Bath reglazing is the process of taking a bath, sink or shower tray and resurfacing it by respraying the tub with a new enamel coating.
You don’t have to go through the hassle of replacing the bath, of getting plumber, of fixing tiles and and damage caused by removal.
The bath reglazing process takes a day. 6-8 hours to fully restore the surface and make it like new again.
We use some of the best materials on the market and use two primers to make sure the surface does not flake or peel off like other bath resurfacing companies.

Bath Resurfacing VS Replacement?
I would recommend resurfacing and re enamelling the bath which takes 6-8 hours and it will look and feel like a new bath.
I think its better to avoid replacing the bath as after you include removal costs, plumbing, purchasing a new bath, any any damages caused by replacing the tub; you could save yourself the hassle by just reglazing it.
It is a lot cheaper to re enamel than to replace. You could save £100s of pounds.
How Long Does The Job Take?
Bath resurfacing is done at your home and it usually takes 4-6 hours to complete the full bath repair and bath re-enamelling procedure.
When Can I Use The Bath After Its Re Enamelled?
You can use the bath after 24 hours from completion of the job by our technician.
Has The Bath Been Worked On Before?
If the bath has been worked on before and the bath was re-enamelled previously then it may show up that the bath is flaking, cracking, peeling away from the original bath enamel.
In this case we have to undo the work of the previous job before we can actually respray the bath.
If the old surface is damaged cracking or peeling away we have to get rid of that coating before we do our coating or it may continue to peel.
In this case we remove the old enamel surface and sand it back too to make it smooth again then we start our full bath re-enamelling and bath resurfacing procedure.
How Long Will The Bath Last?
The bath should last years, sometimes up to 10 years or more depending on the use of it. We have done baths years later to bring it fully back to life again so it’s smooth and shiny but sometimes the baths last less than that.
A bath like anything will wear and tear over time. You can’t expect it to look perfect after 5 or 10 years.
With the use of modern spray cleaners and bleaches they dull the bath over time too.
Is The Bathroom Protected?
Yes we cover the floor with dust sheets so it’s protected. We mask all around the bath so there is no over-spray.
We have an extractor that blows out any dust and enamel spray that is in the bathroom. We clean up as best we can after the job but it can get a bit dusty and it’s hard to catch everything working in a small space.
You may have to dust over the surface and run the bath and rinse it down before using it.

We have tested and tried all the different enamel products and materials out there and we have found the best ones for the bath resurfacing job.
They are not the cheapest materials on the market but they are the best and that’s why we use them. The enamel we use is long lasting and durable. It has a deep shine to it.

Bath Resurfacing and Re-Enamelling Full Step-By-Step Procedure
- We dust sheet the whole bathroom and cover all surfaces.
- We clean the bath with certain spray cleaners for your bath and remove any old and mouldy sealant.
- We then repair any damage to the bath, if there are any chips, scratches, limescale damage, holes, worn away enamel, etc. we repair that. This can involve sanding of the bath too so it’s smooth again
- Then we use certain chemicals on the bath to prepare it for adhesion. We use certain solvents that get rid of any grease, etc.
- We then put on our FIRST bonding agent/adhesive
- Then we spray on our SECOND bonding agent/etching primer. This is what makes us different from other resurfacing companies in that we use two bonding methods
- We then spray on the bath enamel with 3-4 coats of white enamel. This is a spray gun finish. We have a full spray gun set up which is for domestic use
- We let the bath set and dry to a point and then we do any finishing touches, polishing, etc. if needed
