How much does a porcelain sink repair cost?

The cost of a porcelain sink repair is anywhere between £130- 195 depending on the damage to the porcelain sink. 

All repairs can be done on ceramic, porcelain, acrylic or cast iron basins or butlers sinks.

How long will the porcelain sink repair last?

The porcelain sink repair should last years, our enamel surface that we put on is durable and hard wearing. 

The surface isn’t indestructible though and can be chipped, scratched or cracked  if something heavy falls on it or something of that sort. 

Our enamel coating is glossy and blends in with the rest of the surface. 

Will I be able to see the porcelain sink repair once it is repaired?

We try and achieve the standard where you can no longer see where the original repair was.

The construction industry standard is that you can no longer see the repair from 1 meter away. That would be considered a good repair. 

We build the colour on the spot to colour match as best we can your porcelain sink repair, shower tray repair or bath repair. 

We don’t go for the standard that you cannot see the repair at all if you go very close to the repair and look at the repair from many different angles in the light. 

It is after all a repair and not a brand new fixture.

Does a porcelain sink repair come with a warranty or guarantee?

Yes we do a 1 year warranty and guarantee against flaking or cracking of the enamel coating we put on.

The warranty doesn’t cover new chips, scratches, dents, etc. on the sink, shower tray or bath after the work has been done. 

We don’t offer a warranty on crack repairs as usually it is actual structural damage to the fixture that we cannot guarantee wouldn’t crack in the future.

It’s always a good idea to try and repair the fixture first I think as it can be quite a lot of extra work and hassle to get a completely new bath, sink or shower tray.
