How long does the bath, shower tray or sink repair take to do?
The bath, shower tray or sink repair takes about 1.5- 2 hours to do the repair. This is an estimate based on a standard repair. We repair all types of cracks, chips, scratches, holes or any other damage. It could take longer depending on the damage involved but we can restore almost anything!
What is the quality of the bath, shower or sink Repair ?
The repair standard we go for is that you can no longer see the damage of the chip, scratch, dent etc in normal usage. That means that if you were to walk into the bathroom and look over the bath you wouldn’t be able to see there was a chip there or any damage before
If however, you look over the bath very closely, moving your head back and forth in all different angles of the light you may be able to see something. It is, after all, a repair of the surface. But in normal usage you will not be able to see any sign of a repair being done.
How long does the repair last?
The repair should last as long as the bath lasts. We wouldn’t have to come back and do another bath chip repair. We spot in the repair with an enamel coating which is colour matched to your surface so you won’t be able to see there was a repair done.
Does the bath, shower tray or sink repair come with a guarantee or warranty?
Yes, it does. The warranty covers 1 year from the time the repair is done. The warranty covers flaking or cracking of the bath chip repair or the repair coming away. We have a warranty page you can look at here for more information. We offer a 5 Year Guarantee on Bath, Shower or Sink Re Enamelling and Resurfacing.
What quality of materials do we use for the repair?
We use the best materials that are on the market. We have tried and tested all the varies materials and enamels on the market and we have found, what we consider, the best materials for the job.
We use a synthetic enamel coating which is similar to the car surface. So it’s a strong, long-lasting durable enamel coating we use.
We use special bonding agents which stick our enamel coating firmly to your bath so the enamel won’t flake or come away later.
Which areas do you cover?
Our technicians cover all over London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Surrey, Sussex & Kent. Anywhere within a 2 hour and a half of London. Please give us a call and we will try and get to you
How can I prevent chips, scratches dents etc from happening in the future?
We repair new and old baths, shower trays, and sinks all the time. When we repair a bath or shower tray the chip is usually due to a metal plug swinging and hitting the bath and thus causing a chip. Or a shower head falling onto the bath and scratching or chipping the bath.
We, therefore, recommend using a rubber plug and rubber seal for your shower head. This way you can avoid future chips, scratches etc!
To repair a chip, scratch, crack or hole damage, it costs anywhere from £160-£230 depending on the type of damage.
Bath Re Enamelling costs about £425-495 plus VAT.
The cost various depending on the type of damage that needs to be repaired, the amount of chips in the bath and the distance to travel to do the job.
To repair a chip, scratch or crack on a surface we need to recreate the colour of the enamel on the spot to match the colour of your existing bath.
All bath tubs, shower trays and sinks are different shades of white!
And that’s why we build up the enamel colour on the day. We use various tinters to match the colour. This is a particular skill in chip repairs and takes experience and precision to be able to match the colour.
Once we have the enamel coloured matched we then spray it on with a spray gun suitable for your home. Having the correct colour matched you get very good result.
We can do bath chip repairs on:
The simple answer is the bath repair kits won’t give you a good finish. Because all baths are varied in shades of white and the bath repair kit only supplies one or two white colours. Chances are it’s not the correct colour of white then matches your bathtub or shower tray. Their bonding agents are not that strong either so the enamel repair will usually wear away or peel off after a time.
If bath repair kits worked then we wouldn’t be in business. But the reality is they don’t really work. The enamel colour provided will be a different shade of yours so you will see a little blog of enamel on your bath
We also spray on the enamel coating with a little domestic spray gun so it gives the best finish and we then fade out the enamel repair. We spend time finding the correct shade of white of your bath or shower tray by using varies tinters to closely match your surface for a vanishing repair.
I hope that answers the question, you can always try it and see for yourself and if it doesn’t work out you could contact us as we could handle it

Hard Surface Repairs
Our re enamel bath service takes a cast iron, steel, plastic (acrylic bath) and restores it to new. We do this by first doing any bath repair such as handling chips and limescale damage to the bath, etc. Once we have handled any repairs we then re enamel the bath with a spray gun. We use 3-4 coats of white enamel to give you a long-lasting, durable finish.
Shower tray repairs and sink repairs are done much the same way as we would do a bath chip repair.
Hard surface repairs are any repairs to worktops, doors, laminate flooring, quartz, and marble repairs, etc.
